The desert, the wood in the campfire, rocks, big log, starfighter were rendered in Poser 5. The spacesuited figure is the lovely Posette. The cloudy sky was done in Bryce 5. The two images were combined in Paintshop Pro 7.02. Then I added stars with Glitterato, the moon with LunarCell, the campfire flames, smoke, and warm glow with Eyecandy 4000 filters. A few more layers get added for color adjustment and sharpness/blurriness tweeking.
